‘T3EN’ director Ribhu Dasgupta has bought the official rights to remake ‘The Girl On The Train’ in Bollywood, and the latest he confirmed was that he has roped in Jacqueline Fernandez to be part of the film. “I have just finished the script. Jackie has come on board as the protagonist. While the novel had an ensemble cast, our film will revolve around her character. I have been looking forward to working with her and this seemed like a perfect project to collaborate. You get together to make a film when people think alike in many ways and when I had met her I discovered we were on the same page,” Ribhu was quoted recently. A source close to the project revealed, “The film will be set in a small town but the makers are yet to figure whether they will be filming in India or abroad. Ribhu and his team will begin their recce soon and will start prepping up with Jacqueline by the year-end.” Jacqueline Fernandez starrer ‘Judwaa 2’ has become a superhit and her name has popped up time and again for ‘Race 3’ with Salman Khan, though there’s no official confirmation regarding the same. Apart from that, Jacqueline is also shooting for Tarun Mansukhsani’s ‘Drive’ with Sushant Singh Rajput.
