Shraddha Kapoor Starrer Saina Biopic Delayed?

Shraddha Kapoor seems to have too much on her platter. She is shooting for ‘Saaho’ with Prabhas, and at the same time, prepping up for her role as Saina Nehwal. While we were geared up for both the projects, we now hear that there might be a delay in Saina biopic’s release, for more reasons than one. A little birdie informed, "Despite regular sessions, it has been a tough ride for Shraddha. With the amount of prep left for Shraddha, the project will start rolling only by the first quarter of next year." Shraddha, who is quite excited about the film and learning the game said, "I try to go five times a week at 6 am, besides hitting the gym to attain the physicality of a badminton player." Not only her struggle to learn the game but her recent leg injury during a practice session has also resulted in the delay of film's shooting. Shraddha's leg injury will take at least a week more to heal. When director Amole Gupte was asked about the delay in the shooting, he said that he is unwell from the past one week. We hear, "There is no official deadline on the film. Amole wants to make a good movie and that's our priority. Even if there's a slight delay, we have their back." Amole Gupte’s last movie was ‘Sniff’, while Shraddha turned ‘Haseena Parkar’ for her last, before letting the audience feel super excited for ‘Saaho’.
