Ranveer Singh has been announced to play Kapil Dev in Kabir Khan’s next titled 83, which focuses on the 1983 World Cup that India won. And now that the movie will roll soon, it is quite a possibility that the team starts shooting in London, where the match was held. A source stated, "The first schedule will be widely shot in London since the city is an important part of the film. The makers are planning to shoot the entire World Cup sequence in the first schedule." Earlier, Ranveer was asked about his reaction on being offered the role of Kapil Dev. To which he replied, "I was born at the time when cricket was big time. When Kabir Sahab had come to me and said that there will be a film on 83, I was like finally. And when he was narrating it to me, I was like woooh. It is not a story just about cricket but a human story." He said to Kapil Dev, "How am I going to do this? I am honoured that I will be a part of the biggest story." And added, "Goosebumps and goosebumps in the second part of the film, right Kabir sir?" As part of preparations, Kapil Dev and members of the same team will be training Ranveer for the film. The whole team might also undergo some preparations for the same and a boot camp might be there.
