Friday, 17th November 2017, 07:00 PM IST Vicky Kaushal is one busy many with interesting line-ups in the coming year. The actor already has three films releasing in the first half of next year - Meghna Gulzar's ‘Raazi’ with Alia Bhatt, releasing in May next year, Raju Hirani's The Dutt biopic, and ‘Love Per Square Foot’. Vicky will soon start shooting for his next, a film based on the Indian surgical strike titled Uri to be directed by Aditya Dhar. Vicky has also bagged Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Manmarziyaan’, which also stars Taapsee Pannu in the lead. The film which was earlier meant to be made, is now being made as a completely new film. According to a source, the film has a new script which has been crafted under the supervision of the director Anurag himself. This would be the second time Vicky would be collaborating with Anurag after his amazing performance in the director’s ‘Raman Raghav 2.0’. In ‘Raman Raghav’, he played the dark role of a cop living on the edge chasing a serial killer on the loose played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui. This time, the subject is much lighter in form of a romantic film and Vicky is the first male lead signed on for the film we hear. The lookout for the other male lead of the film is still on and the film will go on floors early next year. It would be interesting to see Taapsee and Vicky together on screen.
