Shahid Kapoor Starts Preparing For BATTI GUL METER CHALU

Thursday, 25th January 2018, 07:00 PM IST The shoot of Shahid Kapoor starrer ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ will begin on February 9th and the actor has started brushing up his skills in Garhwali. Shahid, who portrays a local from Uttarakhand in the flick wants to do complete justice to his character. He has already started prepping up for the role. For this preparation, he has also hired a language coach from Uttarakhand. Producer Prernaa Arora was heard quoting, “I’ve very rarely seen such passion and dedication in any actor. Shahid Kapoor is completely involved in getting his character right. He is getting the clothes, the body language and the spoken language right. He has hired a coach to learn the local language. It’s very inspiring for a relatively new producer like me to work with an actor so focused. I am enjoying the experience of working with Shahid Kapoor.” Shahid will move to Uttarkhand from the first week of February. ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’, will be shot in Rishikesh, Tehri, Haridwar, Mussoorie and Nainital. The film slated to release on August 31, 2018 also stars Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam.
