Guess who trained actor Gurmeet Choudhary for his part in JP Dutta’s PALTAN

Tuesday, 24th July 2018, 5:15 PM IST Television and Bollywood actor Gurmeet Choudhary is eagerly waiting for the release of his next - J P Dutta’s highly anticipated war drama, ‘Paltan’. This film is quite special for Gurmeet as he just won’t be working with the veteran filmmaker, J P Dutta for the first time but he’s also got trained by his father, Major Sitaram Choudhary for his character of an Army officer in the movie. It has come to our notice that the actor underwent a 15-day prep with him for the part. Gurmeet says that his father has served the Army for years and imparted training to new recruits. So, who better than him could train for his character in ‘Paltan’? It was a challenging, yet learning experience to train under him before kick-starting the movie. He also said that his dad taught him rope climbing and military low-crawling. He also helped him adopt the ramrod straight posture required while holding guns. Gurmeet reveals that his father harbored the dream of seeing him follow in his footsteps but he couldn’t do that because he was bitten by the acting bug.
