This was followed by the blockbuster hit, ‘Dosti’ which won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi that year. Remembered for the hit films like ‘Ek Phool Do Mali’, ‘Intaqam’, ‘Mela’, ‘Abdulla’ amongst the rest, Khan later turned producer and director with ‘Chandi Sona’ (1977), ‘Abdullah’ (1980) and ‘Kaladhandha Gore Log’ (1986). Sanjay has won accolades like The Rajiv Gandhi Excellence Award in 1993, National Citizens Awards twice and many more. An actor, producer and director, Sanjay Khan is now all set to be an author with the launch of his debut autobiography on October 28th, 2018. Titled, 'The Best Mistakes of My Life', the book chronicles Sanjay Khan’s life on and off the screen. Commenting on the book, Khan said, ‘The Best Mistakes Of My Life’ is a journey through his mistakes in other words learning experiences that helped him become the person that he is today.
