Prabhudheva's hit number ‘Mukkala Muqabala’ is being recreated for Street Dancer 3D

Now, 25 years after the iconic floor-tapping number released, it is all set to make a comeback through Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Street Dancer 3D. We will see the king of pop waving a leg with Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor in the new version. It has been reported that the AR Rahman song has been reworked by Tanishk Bagchi. The report also reveals that the song has already been shot in Dubai. "It was shot during the on-going Dubai schedule with Prabhudheva taking center stage for a minute-long solo performance, effortlessly repeating the difficult moves in a single take.” revealed a source, adding that he was joined by the film’s lead actors, Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor. Bhushan Kumar, who is producing the film, confirmed that the song has been included in the movie. He explains, "There’s a situation in the film where we see Prabhudheva showcase his dance moves and I knew we needed to bring ‘Muqabala’ back. The audience will be blown away by the choreography and will love the new version as much as the original," he said. Street Dancer 3D features Varun and Shraddha as dancers, who have grown up in the UK. The film also stars Nora Fatehi, Sonam Bajwa, Dharmesh, Shakti Mohan and Vartika Jha in vital roles, the film is slated to release on the Republic Day 2020 weekend.
