The remake of South movies has become a trend in Bollywood nowadays. In fact, these remakes are receiving a good response as well. Nowadays, makers are acquiring rights for the remakes of South movie even before its release. These remakes are received well by the audience and hence making huge collections at the box office as well. However, this time the case is vice versa. Some makers from the South industry are on a race to grab the rights for Anubhav Sinha’s Article 15. Article 15 had Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead role and had garnered a lot of positive response from the critics. Article 15, is an investigative thriller and touches upon the issue of casteism in the country with the utmost sensitivity and brings in light on the issues of casteism which were either unknown or ignored. The movie is said to be one of the most profitable movies of 2019. Hence, according to some sources, the producers of the film are said to be flooded with offers and info also states that Dhanush, who’s known to be a superstar in South is keen on remaking the film in Tamil. Directed by Abhinav Sinha, Article 15 has been running well at the box office since a month now and the movie crossed the collection of 64 crores till date. Besides Ayushmann, the film also stars Isha Talwar, M Nassar, Manoj Pahwa, Sayani Gupta, Kumud Mishra, and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub and is produced by Anubhav Sinha and Zee Studios. | |||
