Tuesday, 27th May 2014, 05:00 PM IST Hrithik Roshan did some heavy duty chase sequences in the three week-long Abu Dhabi schedule of Siddharth Anand's action thriller ‘Bang Bang’. Hrithik and Katrina Kaif finally returned from the schedule which had stunts choreographed by Hollywood action director Andy Armstrong, who has directed the stunts of films like ‘Charlie's Angels’, ‘Planet Of The Apes’ and ‘The Amazing Spiderman 2’. Hrithik seemed to be in prime physical condition during the shooting of the film, despite fears of aggravating the head injury he sustained during the shooting sequence last year. "Hrithik is in prime physical form and is keen to push the envelope. Despite fears of aggravating the head injury that he sustained during the film's first schedule that led to a surgery and a long recuperation, Hrithik insisted on doing all the action sequences sans a body double. Such action will be seen for the first time in Hindi cinema," said a source. The schedule was very hectic with the actors working almost twelve hours a day. On the last day of shooting, when Siddharth wrapped it all up at the beach, Hrithik made a 100-metres dash for the ocean. "He plunged into the water, splashed around and then started swimming. Watching him chill out, the assistant directors couldn't resist the lure of the cool blue sea and joined in. It was an impromptu party," adds the source. ‘Bang Bang’ is produced by Fox Star Studios and is an Indianised adaptation of Tom Cruise-Cameron Diaz starrer ‘Knight And Day’. The movie is slated for release on October 2. |
