After the success of ‘1920’and ‘1920 Evil Returns’, ASA Entertainment and Reliance Entertainment announced that they are all set to make a third installment of the franchise. The film titled ‘1920 London’, went on floors in Britain, and was supposed to finish shooting early this year. However, the shooting of the film is still not complete,and Reliance Entertainment has decided to take a call on the same.
According to the grapevine, Reliance had given the money to ASA in the last quarter of 2012, but the film got stuck midway, following which Reliance repeatedly requested ASA to wrap up the shoot. Also, when ASA and Reliance joined hands for the third installment, Vikram Bhatt was a part of ASA, but has now resigned. Anuj Bishnoi, who is the current face of ASA productions, hasn't spoken about the ongoing tiff; however, Shibashish Chakraborthy from Reliance Entertainment informed that there have been cost issues which are being resolved in an amicable manner. He further stated that constant mails and meetings have been conducted to sort out the issue, but no major step has been taken as yet.
‘1920 London’, which stars Sharman Joshi as an exorcist along with actress Meera Chopra, was slated to release this year.The fate of the film now remains undecided.
