Monday, 4th August, 2014, 05:20 PM IST Filmmakers Anurag Kashyap and Tigmanshu Dhulia got together for a rendezvous on Sunday, on the eve of Friendship Day. This has sparked rumours of a possibility of the filmmaker buddies merging their cinematic visions.
It turns out that director Tigmanshu Dhulia has expressed his desire to write a screen adaptation of novel by Ashu Patel titled, ‘Madam X’. A source revealed, “Tigmanshu expressed his interest in writing a film based on the novel ‘Madam X’. It's a crime thriller set in Mumbai and revolves around a female gangster. The book has been written by well-known Gujarati journalist, Ashu Patel.”
The genre of crime-thriller is not unknown to Anurag who said that he would like to direct the film for his friend. Hence he felt that‘Madam X’, a dark crime saga is the perfect fit for him and the deal was sealed immediately. The film will go on floors early next year. |
