Sanjay Leela Bhansali And Prasoon Joshi To Get Padma Shri

Tuesday, 27th Jan 2015, 2:51 PM IST Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali and writer, lyricist and ad guru Prasoon Joshi were named for Padma Shri award recently. The two will receive this honour for their contribution the world of art. Bhansali is known for making films like ‘Khamoshi: The Musical’, ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’, ‘Devdas’, ‘Black’, ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela: Ram-Leela’, etc. In an interview, he had said, “I feel I am at that stage of my life when all my hard work, all the knowledge and experiences that I've gathered over the years, have come to fruition. I feel more fulfilled and complete today than I did when I was 40." Joshi wrote the lyrics of songs like ‘Maa’ from ‘Taare Zameen Par’ and ‘Bolo na’ from ‘Chittagong’. He had also written the script of ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’.
