Friday, 30th Jan 2015, 3:17 PM IST Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Singh Is Bling’ was all set to go on floors in February, but the film has been pushed to April; and now, the superstar’s other film ‘Airlift’ will start rolling in Feb. The producer of ‘SIB’ Ashvini Yardi said, "Yes, we were to start early this year but we had to give away our dates so Akshay could complete his other film. We are now starting in April and will make it in time for our October 2 release." Nikhil Advani, the co-producer of ‘Airlift’ said, "‘Airlift’ is an ambitious project and will be mounted on a lavish scale. We have been prepping for it for the past one year. Since the film is set in 1990s, right from the diction to the production design and costumes, everything has been impeccably researched by Raja's (director Raja Krishna Menon) team. We are ready to roll at a minute's notice." Nikhil revealed that it was Akki’s suggestion to shoot ‘Airlift’ in Feb as in May Bhuj will be very hot. "It was a valid suggestion as the weather is really pleasant now. Our set is ready and we have both Akshay's and Nimrat's bulk dates. We are ready to fly," said the filmmaker.
