"Ek Tha Tiger" kept going higher and higher as the day progressed. Film opened with amazing response and that response shown no sign of dying down throughout the day.
As we reported earlier in the day, film has smashed all previous records of 1st day (currently hold by "Agneepath" at 21.75 cr nett) as well as record of best box office collection in single day (currently hold by "Ra.One" at 25-26 plus cr nett).
Film has collected 1.75 cr nett in a circuit like CI where previous best was hardly 1 cr nett in single day by "Bodyguard". In Rajasthan, film crossed 1.5 cr nett which is again 50% better than previous records. These trends clearly tells us that this is HISTORY IN MAKING.
Film has received few mixed responses from section of audience which crept some doubt in the mind of trade and fan base of Salman Khan. But later in the day all doubts were put to the rest. As per early estimates, film has collected 29 cr nett on Day one and this can vary by 10% as few centers and night show figures are coming.
Film will show some drop naturally tomorrow being a working day but still numbers should be huge. Tomorrow's figure will tell us clearly how big will be this weekend. We will give you an early morning update tomorrow with final numbers of today and tomorrow's trends.
