Apparently, SRK wants to show to the world, the rise of Kolkota Knight Riders team from down under to their IPL triumph, when most of the experts had written them off. A close source revealed - "Right from the beginning, a team of cameramen has been recording all the behind-the-scene moments of the players. They have followed the team through practice sessions, their intercity trips, official meets and so on. All of these will be put together and made into a documentary." The SRK-owned Red Chillies Entertainment bought the team along with Mehta Group, a company owned by Juhi Chawla's husband Jai Mehta, in 2008 for a whopping $75.09 million. The source further added - "There have been a lot of team meetings on the content of the documentary. SRK will do the voiceover. He will talk about the journey, his love for Kolkata, equation with Sourav Ganguly, the first captain of the team, as well as with other players, and last but not the least, how the team emerged a winner after a shaky start and so on." |
