We will get to see a bunch of romantic films this month – ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’, ‘Fitoor’, ‘Sanam Re’ and ‘Loveshhuda’. These films have been cleared by CBFC without any virtual cuts.
‘Loveshhuda’ starring Girish Taurani and Navneet Kaur Dhillon will be releasing on 19th Feb. It has been passed with a U/A with no cuts. Well, there were a few shots, dialogues and situations that were sexual in nature, but CBFC raised no objection as the producer agreed to a U/A certificate.
Vinay Sapru and Radhika Rao wanted U certificate for their film ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’. So, they were asked to cut off small portions of their dialogues.
‘Sanam Re’, starring Pulkit Samrat, Yami Gautam and Urvashi Rautela, has been certified with a U certificate and no cuts.
Katrina Kaif starrer ‘Fitoor’ which releases on 12th Feb has been cleared with no virtual cuts. A source said, "‘Fitoor’ has been given no visual cuts. There were three abusive words which were deleted and replaced. But that's about it. The censor board feels no need to unnecessarily intervene."
Pahlaj Nihalani said, "We saw no reason to cut anything in these romantic films. They are clean decent films. Even for Prakash Jha's ‘Jai Gangaajal’, we were willing to grant 'A' certificate with no cuts. But Prakash Jha wanted a 'UA' with no cuts."
