QUEEN Does Unimaginable In Week two
''Queen'' is doing something unimaginable on weekdays at box office. Film had low Friday but scored big jumps over weekend. But Monday was magical, film scored better figures on Monday than Friday and that too with reduced ticket rates. Film is now rewriting box office history with higher 2nd weekend numbers than 1st weekend.
Film had average weekend of around 10 cr nett and film needed solid weekdays in order to make an impact. Film scored on weekdays and collected 8.80 cr nett on weekdays taking week one total to 18.80 cr nett. Film started well on 2nd Friday and had super numbers of 2.15 cr nett on 2nd Friday followed by again healthy jump of 3.75 cr nett.
Film has collected close to 24.70 cr nett in 9 days and now good 2nd week means film is bound to cross 30 cr nett. Though 20-20 Cricket world cup might slow down things a bit but still 35 cr nett lifetime looks quite certain from here onwards.
