There are rumours that Sunny has mortgaged his preview theatre Sunny Super Sound to fund the making and subsequent release of the film. However, the movie’s and Sunny's official spokesperson has denied these rumours. It is said that the release of the film was postponed as Reliance Entertainment and Sunny wanted to promote the film extensively. The movie also stars Soha Ali Khan.
