“KYAA SUPER KOOL HAIN HUM” Is The Best Adult Comedy Ever In Bollywood
Deepika's Riteish is perfect with his comic timings, Tushhar surpass his previous acts and evokes laugh for every minute he is in frame, Neha Sharma looks good and makes you laugh, director is the winner, dialogues lift the mood of the film, Anupam Kher & Chunkey Pandey steals the thunder, Rohit Shetty & Mushtaq Sheikh are good in cameo, songs are chartbuster
Diana Editing is sluggish, cinematography is uneven, background score is overdone
Watch it for our desi as well as improved version of American Pie
It seems that producer Ekta Kapoor has taken mantra from her earlier blockbuster "The Dirty Picture" too seriously. She has hit formula that is - entertainment, entertainment and entertainment. That's what KSKHH does all the way.
First of all to make it clear, this is not an arty or logical cinema and if you go with any kind of misconception then its totally your fault. Film is on the face adult comedy and pushes the boundaries of adult humor in Indian cinema. Second, its not fair to critique a movie with out keeping in the mind its objective. And on this front, film succeeds, delivers what it promises.
The plot is as thin as Neha Sharma's waist and clothes (We are not discussing plot here as you can find tat in cinemas or at wiki anyways). Riteish is just too good with his comic expressions and timing. Tushhar acts well as dumb character and he just leaves you in split in many sequences. Music and dialogues are two crucial lynchpin here as both keep proceedings interesting throughout.
Cinematography is tacky at places and editing is lazy. Background score so overdone that it irritates you a bit. Neha Sharma is good in terms of performance as well as she looks good. Sarah Jane looks out of the place. Anupam Kher and Chunkey Pandey are as good as always and first sequence of Chunkey is simply mind blowing. Rohit Shetty and Mushtaq leave you smiling in cameos.
Director Sachin Yardi deserves special mention for his writing as well as his taut direction. He never loses his grip and packs the film with one hilarious sequence after another. He is one guy who will be in demand in future.
Overall film is a must watch for anyone looking for mad cap entertainment and works as ideal stress buster. It leaves you in splits not once or twice but throughout. And please, if you like your cinema to be intelligent or logical, give it a miss!
Go for this SUPER KOOL ride and you wouldn't regret !
