FEVER Will Leave You With Unbearable Headache
Good locations, short running time means less torture
Pathetic screenplay at times, poor performances by all
Watch it for how a good actor can look bad by choosing a wrong film
Rohit Dhawan made forgettable debut with 'Desi Boyz' and John Abraham has up and down record in last few years. So when they come together in big budget action comedy then onus on Varun Dhawan to deliver the goods.
A man (Rajeev Khandelwal) wakes up in the hospital with sketchy memory of his past life. All he knows is that his name is Armin and he is from Paris. And then, he starts getting visions of a murdered woman. As he tries to put together pieces of this jigsaw puzzle, he meets Kavya (Gauahar Khan), who becomes his confidante. Soon, another murder happens. Is someone trying to frame Armin?
Film tries to have novel plot but screenplay and execution are cliche from 90's. Film remains in suspense thriller mode with forced and bad songs. Film never generates any interest.
Performance wise, everyone fights hard for worst display of acting or intent. Rajeev Khandelwal starts where he left in 'Samra? & Co.', another disastrous thriller. Gauhar Khan continues 'Big Boss' sort of lost antics. Both foreign imports are worse than lead pair.
Film has decent editing. Background music is irritating. Cinematography is decent, production design is average and costumes are apt. Music works as loo breaks.
Director Rajeev Jhaveri delivers another lazy film with no novel factor. It has more imprints of 90's done to death cinema.
Film released today and will open with poor numbers and to carry the momentum at box office will be a tough task. Film add to the flops of Rajeev Khandelwal.
