Crafty direction, superb performance of Nawazuddin, Niharika Singh fits the bill in brief appearance, fitting art direction
screenplay is uneven sluggish especially in 1st half, camerawork is inconsistent so is the editing
Watch it for excellent performance by Nawazuddin
There are actors who deliver 100 cr, 200 cr grossers at box office but these films fade away from our memory very fast. Then there are some actors who are performer par excellence and they leave imprint with their act. Nawazuddin is one such actor and so ones expectation rises if one gets to see his act showcased as leading man.
'Miss Lovely' takes you into the world of 80's c grade film industry where making money is solo motive in order to survive in cruel world. Girls are piece of flesh and men thrive on that. There are middlemen backed by capitalist powerful men. In middle of this, Sonu (Nawazuddin) develops feelings for apparently innocent looking girl Pinky (Niharika Singh). But things get nasty when reality strikes him right at the end like a blue from the bolt.
Film will release around 450-500 screens tomorrow and should do well in urban multiplexes. Film is full of skin show moments and might appeal in smaller centers too. Film has limited appeal though and one can not expect mass to embrace such a film. Still you never know the power of word of mouth!
Go for this one if you want European style purist cinema!
