Watch it for some real raw thrills and uncomfortable realities of our country
Detailed Analysis:
This year has already seen content oriented successful films i.e. 'Baby', 'Badlapur' and 'Dum Laga Ke Haisha'. This week another niche multiplex film 'NH 10' will try its luck at box office.
Performance wise Anushka Sharma is simply outstanding. Her act depicts her growth as an actress from 'Taani partner' of 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi'. Watch out for climax shot where she lights cigarette, spell bounding! Neil Bhoopalam is good as Arjun, Darshan Kumaar is excellent as the ruthless Satbir. Deepti Naval's small but powerful role is beyond her comfort zone but she delivers it with a punch. Other supporting cast is superb too. Film has very neat story written by Sudeep Sharma but screenplay dips big time in 2nd half. Film becomes repetitive and finds very comfortable situations which does not look realistic enough. Background music is good and so is camerawork which creates required tension. Art department brings authentic look and editing is top notch.
Director Navdeep Singh again delivers an edgy, intense and disturbing thriller. He creates situations in interiors of country and brings forward divide between metros and villages in open. Film released today and should release across 1000 screens. Film has good chances at box office as there is no competition. Film will depend on exceptional word of mouth to survive.
Go for this one for some great performances and tight thriller!
