Saturday, 14th November 11:55 AM IST PYAAR KA PUNCHANAMA 2 Finishes With 63.50 Cr Nett Lifetime Last two weeks saw interesting mix of the film but except ''Talvar'' in metros, no other film managed to hold it at box office. This week it is pretty much solo release in Bollywood with sequel of sleeper hit ''Pyaar Ka Punchnama'' hitting cinemas. ''Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2'' took a decent start and film is around 40% in north which was expected. Overall opening was around 25% which meant a good growth in evening took it close to overall 45% figure. Film collected 6.80 cr nett on day one which was huge number considering cast and brand value. Film was not expected to grow more than 10% but it surprised one and all with 15%-18% growth despite mixed reviews and it collected 7.60 cr nett. Film had good Sunday with 8.35 cr nett number which was growth despite cricket match. Monday was the litmus test and film passed it with flying colors as it collected 4.35 cr nett which was drop of only 30%. Film is good in Mumbai, CP,CI and poor in south but it is extraordinary in East Punjab, Delhi and UP. Film held well on Tuesday and collected 3.70 cr nett followed by 4.10 cr nett on Wednesday and 4.35 cr nett on Thursday. Film collected 39.25 cr nett in week one. Film had tough competition from ''Shaandaar'' but still PKP2 managed to score 2.40 cr nett on 2nd Friday which was superb. Film jumped big by 30% on 2nd Saturday with 3.25 cr nett number followed by 3.05 cr nett on Sunday. Film collected 8.40 cr nett in 2nd weekend. Film is steady on weekdays and added 1.60 cr nett on Monday, 1.45 cr nett on Tuesday, 1.30 cr nett on Wednesday and 1.20 cr nett on Thursday. Film collected 14.30 cr nett in 2nd week which was superb trending. Film was steady on 3rd Friday and collected 1.20 cr nett followed by 1.50 cr nett on 3rd Saturday and 1.65 cr nett on Sunday. Film added 4.35 cr nett over 3rd weekend. Film added 85 lakhs nett on 3rd Monday which is superb number. Film collected 75 lakhs nett on 3rd Tuesday, 65 lakhs nett on Wednesday and 60 lakhs nett on Thursday. Film collected 7.20 cr nett in 3rd week which was super solid. Film added 50 laksh nett on 4th Friday, 65 lakhs nett on 4th Saturday and 75 lakhs nett on Sunday. Film collected 1.90 cr nett in 4th weekend followed by 25 lakhs nett on Monday and Tuesday and 20 lakhs nett on Wednesday thus adding 3 cr nett in 4th week. Film has total of 63.30 cr nett in 27 days and now film is another big surprise hit and it will finish with 63.50 cr nett lifetime as it will end its run with release of PRDP on Diwali.
