Wednesday, 29th August 2018, 04:00 PM IST HAPPY PHIRR BHAG JAYEGI Is Steady On Weekdays After a bit of a disappointing opening day, the Sonakshi Sinha starrer picked up on the second day. Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi, also starring Jimmy Sheirgill, Ali Fazal and Jassi Gill is the sequel to 2016 film Happy Bhag Jayegi. Director Mudassar Aziz had earlier spoke in an interview that the film is about mistaken identity and the confusion created by it. The first part was only about Diana’s Happy fighting for love and landing up in Pakistan but in this one, Sonakshi is mistaken to be Happy (Diana) in China. The confusion creates humour and Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi was successful in doing that. The box office figures of Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi showed a healthy growth on Saturday and maintained the same on Sunday. Opening weekend business is expected to be in the same range as the first part. The collections of the second one were as such: Friday, 2.70 cr, Saturday 4.03 cr and yesterday i.e Sunday it earned 5.08 cr. Hence the total came up to 11.78 cr. Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi stays strong on Monday by collecting 2.05 cr at the box office. The movie stays steady on its 1st Tuesday and collected 1.71 cr. The total collection of the movie now becomes 15.54 cr.
