The basic story of Badhaai Ho revolves around a guy in his late 20s, Nakul Kaushik (Ayushmann Khurrana). It comes as a shocker to him that his mother is pregnant. How the society treats them and how they fight with this wrongly acclaimed taboo is what the entire story revolves around. Badhaai Ho started at the box office with an impressive collection. On its 1st Thursday, the movie collected 7.29 cr at the box office. Badhaai Ho did not leave any stones unturned and emerged as a big favorite for the audience. The 1st-weekend collection of the movie is very impressive was Friday: 11.67 cr, Saturday: 12.60 cr and Sunday: 13.50 cr. Even on its 1st Monday, the movie did not lose its charm and collected 5.65 cr. Badhaai Ho continues its dominance at the ticket windows and collected 5.50 cr on its 1st Tuesday. The movie remains a money spinner on its 1st Wednesday collecting 5 cr. Badhaai Ho proved all calculations and estimations wrong at the box office and collected 4.25 cr on its 2nd Thursday. Badhaai Ho continues to soar high on its 2nd weekend by collecting 3.40 on its 2nd Friday. Witnessing a substantial growth the movie collected 6.60 on its 2nd Saturday and 8.15 cr on its 2nd Sunday. Maintaining a healthy trend on its 2nd Monday, the movie collects 2.60 cr. The movie is going strong on its 2nd Tuesday as it collected 2.50 cr. Still going strong on its 2nd Wednesday Badhaai Ho collects adds 2.35 cr to its humongous total. Badhaai Ho soared higher on its 3rd weekend by adding 2.35 cr on its 3rd Friday. The movie kept on increasing its collection at the box office by collecting 3.55 cr on its 3rd Saturday and 3.85 cr on its 3rd Sunday. Badhaai Ho in all has grossed a mammoth 104 cr and thus entered the 100 cr club.
