The madcap scientist wants to destroy the communication system given the dangerous side effects it''s having in nature. He does the right thing but in a wrong way & how Chitti will tackle him is what the main plot is about. 2.0 has started its journey with good numbers at the box office. The film opened with a record-breaking collection of 20.25 cr. 2.0 might register a remarkable record during the weekend. The movie puts up a superb total on its first weekend. The collection of the Hindi version of the movie is as such Friday: 17.50, Saturday: 24 cr and Sunday: 34 cr. The total collection of the movie till now is 95 cr. 2.0 will emerge as Akshay Kumar’s highest grosser before the end of its 1st week. The 1st Monday collection of the Hindi version of the movie is 13.75 cr and the 1st Tuesday collection of the movie is 11.50 cr which now makes the total 122.50 cr. The movie stays strong on it weekdays and collected 9.50 cr on its 1st Wednesday and 7.75 cr on its 2nd Thursday. The 2nd Friday, Saturday and Sunday collection of the movie is as: 5.85 cr, 9.15 cr and 12 cr, which makes the total collection of the Hindi version of the movie 166.75 cr.
