If I Get An Opportunity To Work In Bollywood, I would Be More Than Happy To Take It Says Anirudh Tanwar

Box Office Capsule had an amazing time interacting about the movie ‘Rajma Chawal' with the debutante actor Anirudh Tanwar. Anirudh is a commercial pilot turned actor who quit the aviation industry to pursue his dream career in acting. Read on to know the deets! 1. How similar or different is Kabir from Anirudh? They are 100 percent different. I think there's no similarity whatsoever between Anirudh and Kabir. In terms of being on social media or in terms of expressing himself, I express myself with my friends, colleagues and even my parents. In all the terms Kabir and Anirudh are really different people. 2. You are working with Rishi Kapoor as his son, how nervous were you when you acted for the first time before him? I was very very nervous. As Rishi Kapoor is such a legend and is a big star so I did not know how would things go around with him. But Rishi Sir is beyond everything, he is really intimidating. I was lucky that it turned out good. 3. Was it difficult to build up on screen chemistry with Amyra Dastur? We started doing workshops before one and a half month for the movie. So we became friends as we used to stay together and hang out together. We could talk as Kabir and Seher. We would talk about our past like how did we come to this industry and stuff. And as Amyra is in the industry since quite a time now so she really helped me with her experience. 4. Every actor dreams of seeing themselves on the silver screen, but how does it feel to make a debut on Netflix? It feels amazing. Netflix doesn’t pick up every film, they have really selected content, so it feels great. I have been getting messages from across the globe for the movie. Though as a child I have had this dream to watch myself on the big screen in the theatre and have that feeling of watching yourself on TV for 3 hours, but I think this is really nice too. I think Netflix was the better idea for 'Rajma Chawal'. 5. Did you plan to start your acting career from digital or you just got the better opportunity and you grabbed it and do you want to stick to the digital platform or are you waiting for Bollywood opportunities? I'm honestly waiting for both. I'm just waiting for good work. Because as an actor I'm looking out for good films, good content, good director and if its Bollywood then I think I will be more than happy to take it. 6. As the film is about the father and son relationship, can you elaborate your relationship with your father? It's totally different. Ours is very direct, there are no filters. We talk all the time. I think we talk like 10-20 times a day. We would literally discuss everything that we are planning in our life. 7. Coming into the movies was always in your list or it came after you became a Pilot? When I was a kid I wanted to be an actor, for no specific reason. I love flying and I really enjoy it. I've been doing it since 2-3 years now and I've got all my licences. But then it’s the same thing that you are doing daily. I mean going to the same height everyday, nothing new. But in acting I feel like I've just being born again and its challenging too. ‘Rajma Chawal', starring Rishi Kapoor, Anirudh Tanwar, Amyra Dastur and Aparshakti Khurrana is directed by Leena Yadav and is produced by Leena Yadav, Aseem Bajaj and Gulab Singh Tanwar.
