At Saint Teresa's High School in Dehradun, a love triangle forms between Shreya (Ananya Panday) a rich girl and Mridula (Tara Sutaria) an aspiring dancer. Their subject of attraction is Rohan (Tiger Shroff) a new student at the college. The college competes against their other contemporaries in the 29th Annual Inter-College Dignity Cup. SOTY2 had a good opening by collecting Rs 12.06 cr on its 1st day at the box office. It earned Rs 14.02 cr on its second day. SOTY 2 was stable at the box office, while making Rs 12.75 cr on Sunday. On its 1st Monday the movie sees a downfall at the box office. It collected 5.52 cr at the box office which makes the total collection of the movie 44.35 cr.
