PYAAR KA PUNCHANAMA 2 Had Fairly Good Day One
Last two weeks saw interesting mix of the film but except 'Talvar' in metros, no other film managed to hold it at box office. This week it is pretty much solo release in Bollywood with sequel of sleeper hit 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama' hitting cinemas.
'Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2' took a decent start and film is around 40% in north which was expected. Overall opening was around 25% which meant a good growth in evening took it close to overall 45% figure. Film got decent reviews so it has legs to go distance as there is no competition either. Film collected 6.80 cr nett on day one which was huge number considering cast and brand value.
Film should grow today though growth will be limited as its young film and non family films tend to grow less. Still 10-15% growth will be good as tomorrow cricket match might restrict it typical Sunday growth. Still 19-20 cr nett weekend guaranteed from hereand this seems like a hit already!
