SARBJIT Remains Below Par On Day One
Aishwarya Rai starrers performed badly in recent past with last release ''Jazbaa'' struggled to go past 25 cr nett. Now her next ''Sarbjit'' released yesterday and this one has hope as its directed by Omung Kumar who made impressive debut with ''Mary Kom''.
Film opened to poor numbers of 15% occupancy in morning and as the average reviews poured in, film failed to grow big from evening onwards. Film improved later in the day but it was hit by Punjabi film ''Kaptaan'' in Punjab and Hollywood biggie ''X Men'' dominated all over India with better numbers.
Film collected 3.69 cr nett on day one and that was strictly average number. Film has to grow big today in range of 50% in order to have chance in long run.
