PYAAR KA PUNCHANAMA 2 Starts Well, WEDDING PULLAV Is Disaster
Last two weeks saw interesting mix of the film but except ''Talvar'' in metros, no other film managed to hold it at box office. This week it is pretty much solo release in Bollywood with sequel of sleeper hit ''Pyaar Ka Punchnama'' hitting cinemas.
''Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2'' has taken a decent start and film is around 40% in north which was expected. Overall opening is around 25% which means a good growth in evening can take it close to overall 45% figure. Film has got decent reviews so it has legs to go distance as there is no competition either. As per early trends, film should score 3.25 -3.75 cr nett and if gets that all important push from evening then sky is the limit.
Other release ''Wedding Pullav'' is washout with 3% occupancy and has no chance at box office after terrible review started pouring in. ''Ho Gay Dimaag Ka Dahi'' and ''Bumper Draw'' are epic disasters with cancel shows all over.
Out of Hollywood releases, ''Bridges Of Spies'' will score among niche metro audience due to big names like Tom Hanks and Spielberg to boast of.
