GHAYAL ONCE AGAIN Is Below Average, SANAM TERI KASAM Is Struggling
Today two diverse films 'Ghayal Once Again' and 'Sanam Teri Kasam' are releasing. Last three weeks have seen clash but except 'Airlift' almost all films under performed. Sunny Deol used to be a force when first installment came in 1990 and now he is pale shadow of that persona.
'Ghayal Once Again' has got average reviews and though its kind of solo release its opening was poor around 15%. Film should have opened to 25-30% because that could have given a chance over weekend. Now with such low opening it needs drastic jump from evening onwards. As of now even 3.5- 4 cr nett on opening day looks tough. It needed minimum 6-7 cr nett day one.
'Sanam Teri Kasam' was never expected to score especially with such cast and clash. But still film has managed some kind of numbers and occupancy and it might cross 80 lakhs nett -1 cr nett on day one. It also needs big growth from tonight and it can work in masses due to hit music.
