SANAM RE And FITOOR Below Average, DEADPOOL Opens Strong
Two similar films ''Fitoor'' and ''Sanam Re'' are releasing on the weekend of Valentines Day. Last one month has seen clash but except ''Airlift'' almost all films under performed. Hollywood film ''Deadpool'' is also putting strong foot.
''Fitoor'' released today across 1400 screens in India and 400 screens overseas. Film has urban feel and appeal among multiplex audience and that is why film has to grow tremendously from evening onwards. Film has opened to 15% occupancy and it will be lucky to cross 4.5-5 cr net ton opening day considering below par reviews.
''Sanam Re'' released across 2000 screens and has hit music which has appeal among masses. Film has opened to 15%-20% occupancy bu then it has to perform better considering such films do not grow much. Film should cross 5.5 cr nett today and good weekend on the cards considering modest budget.
Hollywood super hero comedy flick ''Deadpool'' scored well starting from morning shows itself and it might beat both films in premium multiplexes. Film should score decent number today in the range of 4 cr nett.
