PADMAAVAT Crosses 150 Cr Mark On Wednesday
After fighting all odds, ''Padmaavat'' has finally roared at the box office. It is enjoying very good run and is being loved by audiences all over the world.
The film collected Rs. 5 cr on Wed [limited preview shows] & the day wise collections thereafter were: Thursday Rs. 19 cr, Friday Rs. 32 cr, Saturday 27 cr and reached to a total of 83 cr in 3 days. It is also doing exceptionally well in the international markets too.
‘Padmaavat’ has done excellent business in the extended weekend despite there being protest and stress at some places and no screening happening in some states. Yet, it’s doing fantastic. The collections could have been more if situations were normal.
''Padmaavat'' collected 31 cr on Sunday and grossed in a total of 114 cr by it’s 4th Day.
Facts say that ‘Padmaavat’ is Deepika Padukone’s seventh film to cross 100 cr and Ranveer Singh’s 3rd film to cross this mark. The earlier two, ‘Raam-Leela’ and ‘Bajirao Mastani’ were also helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
Breaking records since its first weekend, ‘Padmaavat’ becomes one of the few films to cross 100 cr mark in its first weekend. ‘Padmaavat’ grossed 15 cr on its first Monday and enjoyed a strong run after the release and came to a total of 129 cr.
Even on Tuesday, the film was super-strong at the Box Office and earned an outstanding sum of 14 cr. In total it has earned 143 cr in India. Overseas opening weekend was 76.24 cr, which is remarkable.
And this SLB’s magnum opus has crossed 150 cr mark and made 12.50 cr on Wednesday. The total came to 150.50 cr and came one step closer to being declared as a hit.
