FAST & FURIOUS 7 Crosses 73 Cr Nett In Seven Days
Bollywood films have disappointed and no big films made impact in last 6 months except ''PK''. Now big summer season starts with 1st big release ''Fast & Furious 7'' from Hollywood. Film got early release in India and has hit the screens all over on Thursday.
Film had huge franchise value plus this is last installment which adds to the anticipation. Film has got very wide release all over today including 3D & IMAX version. Film has taken a simply outstanding opening despite working day. Film collected 12.38 cr nett on day one which was highest ever day one with some distance.
Film maintained its speed on day two and national holiday helped film a lot. Film was not affected by big Bollywood release and went on to score another day two. Film was good in metros and even smaller towns were almost 90% throughout the day.
Film collected close to 11.92 cr nett on day two and that was record day again by some distance. Film maintained its record and collected 12.25 cr nett on day three. Film again scored big Sunday of 13.56 cr nett plus.
Film has total of 50 cr nett in four days which is way higher than 4 day extended weekend total of 31 cr nett of ''The Amazing Spiderman 2''. Film was so strong that it crossed lifetime figure of 47 cr nett of ''Fast And Furious 6'' in four days and week one collection of 40 cr nett of ''The Amazing Spiderman 2'' in four days too.
On Friday, film dropped by only 40% that too from a holiday driven Thursday. Film collected 7.50 cr nett on Monday which was huge. Film added 6.25 cr on Tuesday, 5.10 cr nett on Wednesday and 4.10 cr nett on Thursday. Film has total of 73 cr nett plus and now film is almost certain to cross 100 cr nett lifetime.
A good 2nd week and it is bound to cross 100 cr nett and 1st Hollywood film to do so in India. Film also crossed 1146 cr in USA in just seven days. Historic!
