KABALI Had Below Average Week In North, All Time Record In Overseas
This week saw release of Bollywood film ''Madaari'' along with couple of good Hollywood films. ''Kabali'' managed to create stir all over due to Rajnikanth factor but Hindi market is tough to crack even for superstar.
''Kabali'' was promoted big and expected to start well. That is what happened as film started slow around 20% but improved later throughout day. Film was good in metros and collected around 5.20 cr nett from 1000 screens. Film needed jump but film managed only slim growth.
Film collected 6.20 cr nett on Saturday followed by 7.75 cr nett on Sunday which was again slim growth. Film collected 2.95 cr, 2.40 cr, 1.90 cr and 1.60 cr nett from Monday to Thursday on weekdays.

Film was huge in other Asian markets (Sri Lanka, Malaysia) which made difference.
