POSTER BOYS Had A Low 1^st Week

Based on the taboo subject of Vasectomy, the comedy drama ‘Poster Boys’ earned 1.75 cr on Friday which was lower than expectations.

Such a start means there is a lot of ground that needs to be covered and that too in quick time. This Deol brother flick with Shreyas Talpade as an actor as well as the director does have a chance since those who watched it have come back with good reports. This could well translate into an increase in footfalls. 

The film collected 2.40 cr and 3.10 cr on Saturday and Sunday and reached to a total of 7.25 cr.

It showed good growth over the weekend, but the weekend total remains on the lower side. It will have to maintain the trend on weekdays, or remain on Fri levels, to post a decent Week 1 total.

To have a good total of first week, it was necessary for the film to bring in almost similar collections on Monday as they were on Friday. This didn’t happen though as 1.25 cr came in on Monday whereas Friday had stood at 1.75 cr. It reached to a total of 8.50 cr.

It remained low on Tuesday and collected 1 cr. The film was supposed to rise high in the weekdays or at least remain constant but nothing happened. It went lower on Wednesday and collected 90 lakhs.

The film witnessed good growth over the weekend, but remained low on weekdays, despite favourable word of mouth. It collected 90 lakhs on Thursday and total reached to a total of 11.20 cr.
