PARMANU Inches Closer To 50 crore
John Abraham’s movie Parmanu opened with mixed reviews but it got a good opening on day one. On Friday the movie went on collecting 4.82 crore. Directed by Abhishek Sharma, the movie also stars Diana Penty and Boman Irani in pivotal roles.
Starring John Abraham in leading role the story of Parmanu: The Story Of Pokhran revolves around the testing of nuclear bombs which were executed by Indian army at Pokhran in 1998.Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, headed this operation back when he was not the President of India and Atal Bihari Vajpayee was the Prime Minister. John Abraham builds up the Pokhran Nuclear test team to execute this plan. The story sheds light on success and facts behind this story.
After an amazing start on Friday morning, it collected Rs. 7.64 cr on its 1st Saturday. To continue its victorious run at the box office it went on collecting 8.32 cr on its 1st Sunday.
Parmanu had a super-strong 1st Monday at box office wherein the movie collected 4.10 cr. The 1st Tuesday and Wednesday collection of the movie was 3.81 cr and 3.48 cr. Maintaining a good week, Parmanu’s 1st Thursday collection went on collecting 3.24 cr. The second Friday, Saturday and Sunday collection of the movie was 2.05 cr, 3.56 cr and 4.53 cr respectively.
Parmanu stays rock-steady by collecting 1.79 cr on its 2nd Monday. Even on its 2nd Tuesday the movie managed to earn 1.64 cr. Now, the total collection of the movie becomes 48.98 cr.
