102 NOT OUT Crosses 40 Crores

Umesh Shukla’s 102 Not Out was received amazingly well by the critics as it got some very good reviews. But the first day of the film earned 3.52 cr, which was average compared to the expectations trade pundits had from the film.

102 Not Out is a story of an old man aged 102 (Amitabh Bachchan), who wants to break the record of the oldest living male on the earth. For this he tries to send his 75 year old son (Rishi Kapoor) to old age home. In this quirky tale of life, the makers gives a sweet message without being preachy. 

After an average start on Friday, the movie showed a strong growth and collected 5.53 cr on its Day 2. On Sunday, too, the movie jumped and collected 7.60 cr. 

102 Not Out kept trending at the box office and collected 3.20 cr on its 1st Monday. Even on its 1st Tuesday the movie shows solid growth and earned 2.83 cr. continuing its strong hold at the box office, the movie earned 2.65 cr on its 1st Wednesday. The 1st Thursday collection of the movie was 2.55 cr.

The total collection of the movie of its first week is is 27.70 crores. 

102 Not Out remained a little slow on Friday by earning 1.85 cr. The film was back on track on Saturday and Sunday. The Amitabh and Rishi starrer earned 3.05 cr and 4.30 cr. respectively. Hence, the total now came to 36.90 cr.

On it’s 2nd Monday the film added 1.25 cr to the above total. Tuesday collection of the film was 1.26 cr.

On Wednesday, the film earned 1.20 crores.
