SINGH IS BLIING Drops Big Over 2nd Weekend
Last week saw interesting mix of the film - Akshay Kumar starrer entertainer 'Singh Is Bliing', real life inspired crime drama 'Talwar', Hollywood biggie 'The Martian' and Tamil fantasy entertainer 'Puli'. And as expected Akshay Kumar starrer dropped badly after good initial.
Akshay Kumar starrer 'Singh Is Bliing' had taken a good opening and with the benefit of holiday it had a very good day one, the biggest for Akshay Kumar and 2nd biggest of 2015. Film collected 20.67 cr nett on day one mostly riding on exceptional performance in north. Film has taken a decent start on day two and it should be solid in central and north belt.
But film is lagging in Mumbai and south which is hurting it badly. Film dipped on Saturday in Mumbai and to an extent in Gujarat too. Film collected 14.50 cr nett on Saturday. Film grew on Sunday but growth was below par and collected only 19.27 cr nett. Film continues to struggle in Mumbai, Gujarat, Tamilnadu and Kerala. After 54.44 cr nett weekend, film collected 7.10 cr nett on Monday which was big drop of 55% followed by 6.56 cr nett on Tuesday and 5.30 cr nett on Wednesday and 4.20 cr nett on Thursday.
Film collected 77.60 cr nett in week one and then film dropped really big on 2nd Friday. Film dropped by 85% and collected 1.60 cr nett on Friday, 2.50 cr nett on 2nd Saturday and 3 cr nett on Sunday. Film will struggle to cross 12 cr nett in 2nd week.
Film has total of 84.70 cr nett in ten days and film will struggle to cross 88 cr nett lifetime. Film collected 16.50 cr in overseas.
