JUDWAA 2 Stays Strong On 3rd Friday
‘Judwaa 2’ has taken a great start of 16.10 cr and it shows that Varun is truly a box office winner. Somehow the focus had shifted from such masala entertainers but as a filmmaker David Dhawan has been scoring well always and he has shown his skills as a storyteller all over again.
On Saturday, the film scored huge and collected 20.55 cr. The total reached to 36.65 cr. The day 2 was phenomal. Varun Dhawan and David Dhawan emerges as a winner at box office and 20 cr biz on two consecutive days - a rare feat that very few actors can boast of.
As expected, ‘Judwaa 2’ had a huge Sunday and Monday and crossed 75 cr in four days. On Sunday & Monday, the film 22.60 and 18 cr respectively. ‘Judwaa 2 ‘ had a terrific Tuesday as it earned 8.05 cr. It might emerge highest grosser of 2017, after ‘Baahubali 2’ Hindi films.
The movie is super strong on weekdays and collected 6.72 crores on Wednesday. It stands tall with the grand total of 92.02 crores.
‘Judwaa 2’ had an amazing week one and it reached to a total of 98.08 cr. On Thursday, it collected 6.06 cr. It is all set to become Varun''''s 4th 100 crore grosser after ‘Dilwale’, ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ and ‘ABCD 2’.
The movie which is facing a minor competition from ‘Newton’ will face Saif Ali Khan’s ‘Chef’ this week.
‘Judwaa 2’ remains above all new releases and crossed 100 cr mark. Sat & Sun will surely go higher, making a good total in Weekend 2. It collected 4.25 cr on Friday and reached to 102.33 cr.
The film is a super hit, it collected 18.10 cr in the second weekend. ‘Judwaa 2’ continues to dominate as no new releases worked as obstacles. Till Diwali, there is no major release which will work in the favour for it.
On 2nd Monday, the film worked well and collected 2.91 at the box office.
‘Judwaa 2’ managed a strong week 2 and collected 27.76 cr. On 3rd Friday, it earned 1.72 cr. 3rd week is also going to be good for the film as no other big release was there this Friday.
