102 NOT OUT Crosses 45 Crore Mark

Umesh Shukla’s 102 Not Out was received amazingly well by the criticsas it got some very good reviews. But the first day of the film earned 3.52 cr,which was average compared to the expectations trade pundits had from the film.

102 Not Out is a story of an old man aged 102 (Amitabh Bachchan),who wants to break the record of the oldest living male on the earth. For thishe tries to send his 75 year old son (Rishi Kapoor) to old age home. In thisquirky tale of life, the makers gives a sweet message without beingpreachy. 

After an average start on Friday, the movie showed a strong growthand collected 5.53 cr on its Day 2. On Sunday, too, the movie jumped and collected7.60 cr. 

102 Not Out kept trending at the box office and collected 3.20cron its 1st Monday. Even on its 1st Tuesday the movie shows solid growth and earned2.83 cr. continuing its strong hold at the box office, the movie earned2.65 cron its 1st Wednesday. The 1st Thursday collection of the movie was 2.55cr.

The total collection of the movie of its first week is 27.70 crores. 

102 Not Out remained a little slow on Friday by earning 1.85 cr.The film was back on track on Saturday and Sunday. The Amitabh and Rishi starrerearned 3.05 cr and 4.30 cr. respectively. Hence, the total now came to36.90 cr.

On it’s 2nd Monday the film added 1.25 cr to the above total. Tuesdaycollection of the film was 1.26 cr. On Wednesday,the film earned 1.20 crores. Thursday collection of the film was 1.15 cr.Hence the 2^nd week of 102 Not Out ended with a total of 41.86 cr.

The third week of 102 Not Out witnessed an upward trend. Thefilm crosses 45 crores and might cross 50 in this week. The collection of the 3^rdweekend is such, Friday the film made, 77 lakhs, Saturday ended with 1.25 crand Sunday’s collection was 1.68 cr. Hence, the total came to 45.56 cr.
