ROY Drops Drastically On Monday
After disastrous beginning of 2015 with flops ''Tevar'' and ''Khamoshiyan'', below par to average ''Baby'', below average ''Dolly Ki Doli'', disastrous ''Hawaizaada'' and flop ''Shamitabh'', there is big hope from new release ''Roy'' especially due to presence of Ranbir Kapoor.
''Roy'' opened to very good occupancies on 1st day morning. It was by far the best opening of the year and metros look real solid. Film collected 10.40 cr nett on day one and that too despite not so great word of mouth.
Film grew on day two which was real verdict on stardom of Ranbir because word of mouth is pathetic but still film grew. Film collected 11.16 cr nett on day two but then big cricket match affected film badly on Sunday. Film collected only 7.12 cr nett on Sunday. Film dropped by 70% from Friday and collected 3.65 cr nett.
Film has total of 32.33 cr nett in 4 days and now film looks to finish with 40 cr nett lifetime which is a shame after such an opening. Lifetime number of 50 cr nett will be a good result but at the moment even 45 cr looks difficult. Film collected even worse 2.50 cr in overseas and worldwide distributor share looks to heading for 23 cr.
