SINGHAM RETURNS Crosses 100 Cr Nett Worldwide
Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty are back with another potential super hit films. 'Singham Returns' released in around 4000 screens and that is why film is expected to take a big start. On top of that, film got huge impetus due to Independence Day holiday over weekend.
Film defeated the 1st day opening record of Salman Khan starrer 'Kick' which held the top spot in 2014. Film collected close to 32.09 cr nett on day one and that was by far the best opening day of 2014.
Film opened to huge occupancy in central India and Mumbai/Gujarat look to score big numbers. Film is good in north, UP and Bihar. Film has to over perform in West Bengal, Mysore and north in order to break pattern of prequel which did well in central India, Mumbai and Gujarat.Film had real challenge yesterday and film held up well on Saturday and collected close to 21.05 cr nett which was outstanding.
Film scored big numbers on Sunday. Film collected 24.50 cr nett on Sunday which was huge number considering big Friday. Film dropped by only 60% from Friday which was huge due to holiday. Film collected very good 14.78 cr nett on Monday. Film has total of 92.47 cr nett in 4 days and now film is heading for 100 cr nett plus in 5 days which will be great.
Film collected very good 14.60 cr in overseas over weekend and now film has approached 16 cr in 4 days. Film has crossed 100 cr nett worldwide in 4 days which is 1st for Ajay Devgn.
