KIS KISKO PYAAR KAROON Holds Well On Weekdays
This week has seen interesting mix of the film. Comedy star from small screen Kapil Sharma is making big screen debut with Abbas Mustan film 'Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon' along with Madhur Bhandarkar's reality drama 'Calendar Girls' and another T Series fiasco 'Bhaag Johnny'. And clearly KKPK has emerged a big hit!
KKKPK has decent pre release buzz thanks to Kapil Sharma and his following among masses. Film was expected to open well but opening has surpassed all expectations. Film opened to 30-35% across the board, Kanpur was close to 35% and Jaipur was 40%. Film improved later in the day with benefit of holiday and went on to score big numbers all over in north and central belt. East Punjab and CI were best.
Film crossed opening day number of much promoted and much bigger film 'Hero' release couple of weeks back and went on to collect 10.15 cr nett. Film continued to rock on Saturday and though film dropped by 20% which was expected after holiday day one. Film added 8.60 cr nett on Saturday. Film continued its strong run and managed to cross 10.06 cr nett on Sunday. After impressive 28.81 cr nett weekend, film managed to hold very well with 4.50 cr nett on Monday and 3.80 cr nett on Tuesday.
Film has total of 37.11 cr nett in five days and that's a fantastic total from 1550 screens. Film collected good numbers in overseas too with 7.92 cr and going by the trend, film will cross 43 cr nett in week one in India and 2nd Saturday business will decide its lifetime range. Hit !
