EXCLUSIVE DILWALE Takes Super Start In Advances But Needs To Cross Few Hurdles For Good Show
The biggest clash of the year is now 2 days away and buzz around the event is tremendous. Trade expert to movie buff to common audience are going berserk about this much awaited clash between two biggies 'Bajirao Mastani' and 'Dilwale'. Advance booking for 'Dilwale' started on Sunday.
'Dilwale' has received tremendous response from audience in advances. West Bengal is almost sold out for Friday and weekend tickets will be out of stock soon. NCR is also warming up though still full cinema lists is not out. Film has sold almost 40% tickets in opened cinemas in NCR and surprisingly even central India and south are looking good at the moment.
On the other hand, 'Dilwale' will score among multiplexes especially after tie up with PVR. Film will get all important multiplexes and high end screens in NCR, Mumbai and central India. Film will score among youth audience big time so multiplexes will go mad over the film.
'Bajirao Mastani' advances will start from today and so 'Dilwale' has got benefited in Mumbai/Maharashtra as it sold good number of tickets in last three days. Film will open big without any doubt but million dollar question is how big? And it ahs following hurdles to cross in order to score at box office.
- MNS opposing Shahrukh over farmers' issue
- Intolerance remark issue has been wide spread on social media and people vouching against watching Shahrukh/Aamir films
- Biggest hurdle is clash with 'Bajirao Mastani' which will result in at least 35% less showcasing and audience having choice to watch something entirely different
- Last but not the least, huge expectations from SRK -Kajol film
But as we have seen in past that Shahrukh has proved his box office mettle despite all odds. And yes this is his biggest box office test not only as an actor but also as producer. A dozen of distributors had put their money behind superstar and now judgement day will decide who is real boss.
