The first look poster of Rajkumar Hirani’s much talked about Aamir Khan starrer film ‘P.K.’ will finally release on the coming Friday.

 

The poster has been ready for a while but the film’s team was in a dilemma regarding when to release it.

 

A source said, “Initially, Aamir wanted to release the first look of the film on July 24, a day before ‘Kick’ released. But that would mean entering Salman’s space, where the film was highly anticipated as well. So the plans were then dropped.”

 

Earlier there were rumours that the poster would release on August 15 along with Ajay Devgn’s ‘Singham Returns’ but the plan was changed. The source further added, “Raju Hirani told Aamir that releasing the first look on a day when Ajay’s film would release, along with Shahrukh’s promo, would lead to P.K.’s first look being overshadowed. Aamir took note of Raju’s point and dropped the idea.”

 

The makers have now picked a safer day and will release the first look and poster of ‘P.K.’ on Friday.
