Aditya Roy Kapur, who came on the bollywood scene through his role of a rockstar in 'Aashiqui 2', is now planning to to repeat his screen avatar off-screen. The actor is planning to come out with a music album next year.

Aditya recently confessed that he has always been interested in music and has been wanting to cut an album since his days as VJ.

Asked about it, the actor said - “I want to cut an album and people keep telling me to bring it out soon but I need to spend time working on that. Though I am quite decent with my guitar playing I will need people for my music arrangements, background etc. I compose my own music and write my own songs so putting it together is not a problem. I just need some time."

Aditya further added - "Currently, I am shooting for Daawat-E-Ishq so I don’t have the time to put it together but yes, I will deifinitely do so next year. Though I am not sure yet whether it will be a single or a compilation of all kinds of songs.”

Stars to have cut albums in the past include Amitabh Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Ayushmann Khurrana and Govinda.
