Ayushmann And Bhumi Starrer Manmarziyan Put On Hold

Tuesday, 22nd Mar 2016, 4:43 PM IST Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar will be seen in Aanand L Rai’s production venture ‘Manmarziyan’. The shooting of the film had already started, however it has now been put on hold as Rai is not happy with the rushes of the film. The movie was being directed by Sameer Sharma (‘Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana’ fame), but now it is said that the director might be changed. Talking about the film’s shoot being put on hold, Sharma said, "We are on a break. Every film goes through teething problems in its initial stages and everybody has a lot to speculate about. At the end of the day it's only the producer and the director who know what the real status quo is. We are making some corrections and taking some time off. But it's an internal matter and not to be discussed publicly. I'm sure it will only better the final product." Earlier, Sharma was to direct a film titled ‘Jugalbandi’ starring Saif Ali Khan. The film was supposed to be produced by Salman Khan, and Jacqueline Fernandez was apparently roped in to play the female lead. However, that film too has been put on a backburner.
